Astron Player regularly sends it’s status back to our servers this is then used to determine to health of the player and used to update the network management screen within Astron Manager

Stop start technology

Thanks to Astrons stop start technology any content downloads in progress whilst there is any loss of internet, power or computer failure are automatically resumed at the same point next time. This provides optimal bandwidth usage and stops the same content being downloaded over and over again.

Multiple downloads

Because Astron is multi threaded it’s able to download multiple presentations** at the same time optimising bandwidth and ensuring your content is loaded and ready to go

Status Console

The players status console provides you with an instant overview of the player and includes it’s health and the last time it checked in with the content server

Adjustable Settings

Using this feature you can control how often Astron player checks in with the content server, where it stores downloaded content and it’s serial key

 

Minimum Specification

The astron player requires a PC running:

• Microsoft Windows XP or higher
  
• Windows Media Player 10 or higher
  

And the following minimum hardware:

• Intel Celeron 2 Ghz or higher
  
• 256mb RAM
  
• 30Mb space for installation

Note: It’s recommended your hard disk has at least 1GB of space to store presentations that are downloaded
